This site provides a parody monitoring service that checks whether downdetector.com is accessible. It exists primarily for entertainment and as a commentary on the recursive nature of monitoring services.

• A web interface displaying the current status of downdetector.com along with recent history and incident timelines
• A public API (including the documented /api/v1/* endpoints) for programmatic access
• Account registration for optional incident email alerts and authenticated settings access
• Optional paid subscription features managed through Stripe checkout and customer portal flows
• A contact form for inquiries

Certain features may require a paid subscription. Payment processing is handled by Stripe. By purchasing a subscription, you also agree to Stripe's applicable terms and privacy practices.

Current paid catalog is offered as Pro and Business monthly plans. Paid value today is primarily entitlement increases for API usage and history windows, plus Stripe billing portal access.

• Refund requests are reviewed under our 7-day-from-initial-charge baseline policy
• Cancellations are intended to be self-serve via billing portal and default to end-of-period
• Upgrades are prorated immediately; downgrades take effect on the next billing cycle
• Plan availability and pricing may change over time

The status information provided is based on automated HTTP checks and may not accurately reflect the true availability of downdetector.com. Factors that can affect accuracy include:

• Network conditions between our server and the target
